BO Report Developer/ BI Analyst

We are currently looking for a full time BO Report Developer / BI Analyst in Princeton, NJ . 

 

The requirements for the position are as follows:

        Required:

        ·          3-4 years of Business Objects experience

        ·          7-8 years of IT experience

·          Full Client and WEBI 6.5 experience

·          Universe Design experience

·          BCA and Scheduler experience

·          Application Foundation Experience

·          Good communications skills 

  

Preferred:

·          XIR2 experience and/or migration experience to XIR2

·          Pharmaceutical experience

Siebel Consultant

Xenon Consulting Inc. has currently an opportunity for a consultant with Siebel and Business Objects experience in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

 

We have a requirement for Business Objects Edge installation that will be reporting off of a Siebel application.  Experience with Business Objects in a Siebel setting and Data warehouse/ETL is required.  The work is for configuration, installation and deployment for a new Business Objects Edge Professional BI platform in a 5 concurrent user environment.  The technologies to be deployed include the standard BO Platform(security, scheduling, etc), Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Xcelsius.  In addition, the Pro version of Edge includes a version of Data Integrator, an ETL tool used transfer data from applications into a data warehouse.  Information will be coming from Siebel.  There is a need to create one or several universes to use Webi.

We are expanding our sales force department by adding an Account Manager for our Great Neck Office. The position is an inside sales position with some traveling within the territory of Long Island, New York and Connecticut .  The incumbent will be responsible for:

  

·          The attainment of forecasted revenue commitments through the generation of new sales revenues, and protection of existing revenues.  

·          Driving revenue in a territory account model, via sales leads from partners; web site e-mail; marketing campaigns, including direct mail campaigns- outsides telemarketing group research, and- trade show inquiries.

·          Cold calling to existing customers and targeted new market access.

·          Managing the maintenance and growth of current customers to achieve budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business, and securing contract agreements from previously non-contracted customers.

 

The ideal candidate must have

·          Previous experience in selling professional services with skills and expertise in selling deals ranging from $50,000 to $450,000. 

·          Be self-motivated, demonstrate negotiation skills, goal setting and have good interpersonal skills. 

·          Strong written and oral communications skills, working well independently and having a strong understanding of technology is required.

Dashboard & Analytics Field Consultant

This position is 100% traveling from Washington DC, to Boston, MA

Implementation services for Dashboard Manager, a tool available from Business Objects designed to provide visibility to business activities across an organization. Dashboard Manager offers metrics, alerting and dashboard management capabilities to help your organization monitor and understand business activities.

Job Requirements: Understand business requirements and be able to translate them into Dashboard Manager metrics, have good experience designing Dashboard metrics and alerts. Strong SQL experience and familiar with reporting tools. Knowledge of Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports a plus.

Must be able to quickly understand current client environment/databases, client infrastructure and reporting needs. Must be able to adapt easily to company and client demands and requirements. Requires taking direction from Company and/or Client. Must be able to anticipate client reporting needs. Must satisfactorily pass a complete background check and drug screening process.

 
Data Integrator Field Consultant

This position is 100% traveling from Washington DC, to Boston, MA .

Business Objects Data Integrator is a scalable enterprise-level data integration platform. With it you can explore, extract, transform, and deliver data anywhere so end users have information that is accurate, timely, and trustworthy.

Job Requirements: Understand the Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) concepts, have worked extensively with an ETL tool, and have good experience in Data Warehousing environments. The candidate must be very strong in Transact SQL and PL/SQL and be familiar with reporting tools. Knowledge of Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports a plus. Must be able to quickly understand current client environment/databases, client infrastructure and reporting needs.
